Mobile Train Station Cleaner – Norwich / Cambridge Area

Location: Based near Cambridge Train Station
Coverage Area: Colchester to Tottenham Hale
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour + overtime available
Contract Type: Ongoing work with opportunity to become permanent
Hours: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

About the Role

Our client, a leading UK Facilities Management and commercial cleaning contractor, is seeking a Mobile Train Station Cleaner to join their expanding rail cleaning team.

This role involves travelling between multiple train stations, carrying out deep and specialist cleaning tasks to ensure stations remain clean, safe, and welcoming for passengers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning of public and staff toilets

• High-level dusting and detailed cleans

• Cleaning glass, windows, screens, and surfaces

• Working as part of a mobile cleaning team

• Adhering to health & safety and hygiene standards

Working Pattern

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

• Travel time between stations included in working hours

• Mix of shifts: 80% days / 20% nights

• Weekend and night availability required

Requirements

• Cleaning experience beneficial but not essential

• Driving licence preferred (not essential)

• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

• Team player with good attention to detail
